Honor has launched its latest Honor 400 series in China, including the Honor 400 and Honor 400 Pro, both designed to bring flagship features into a more affordable package. The standard Honor 400 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ultra-slim bezels, and a punch-hole camera design. The phone boasts a curved-edge panel, giving it a premium in-hand feel. With peak brightness around 2,000 nits and HDR support, the display offers great visibility even in harsh sunlight and vivid color reproduction for media consumption.
Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 Offers Solid Mid-Range Performance
The vanilla Honor 400 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, which balances performance and battery efficiency for everyday users. Paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, it ensures a fluid multitasking experience with fast app loading and smooth UI transitions. The Honor 400 Pro, on the other hand, is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 for enhanced flagship-level performance at a competitive price point. Both variants support 5G connectivity, vapor chamber cooling, and Honor’s MagicOS 8, which is based on Android 14 and includes new AI-driven features like Magic Portal and gesture navigation.
50MP Dual Camera System for Sharp and Natural Shots
Both phones in the Honor 400 series come with a 50MP primary rear camera featuring Sony sensors, along with a 2MP depth sensor for portrait enhancement. The camera app supports AI scene recognition, super night mode, HDR, and portrait effects, offering great results for casual users and content creators. On the front, there’s a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus, enabling high-resolution selfies, AI beauty enhancements, and clear video calls.
Battery, Charging & AI Extras
The Honor 400 houses a 5,200mAh battery with 66W fast charging, while the Pro model includes 100W fast charging and wireless charging options as well. Both phones include AI photo remastering, smart folders, and Magic Capsule for real-time app interactions. The use of MagicOS 8 allows Honor to introduce intelligent suggestions, smart reminders, and privacy-focused features in a clean UI layout.
Honor 400 Price & Global Launch Expectations
The Honor 400 starts at CNY 2,099 (approx ₹24,000), while the Honor 400 Pro starts around CNY 2,999 (approx ₹34,000). Both models are available in China and are expected to launch globally, including in India, later this year. With flagship-grade cameras, curved AMOLED displays, AI software, and powerful Snapdragon chips, the Honor 400 series positions itself as a stylish alternative to rivals like the OnePlus Nord, Realme 12 Pro+, and Vivo V-series.
